Byford is a suburb on the southeastern edge of Perth, Australia, originally founded as the townsite of Beenup in 1906.

Historically Byford was constructed as a planned town to support workers for the State Brickworks located up the scarp. Rail reserves relating to the brickworks and depot still are visible. Byford also serves as a stop on the Australind train from Perth to Bunbury. A new platform has been constructed in recent years after the more permanent station was demolished with the non-electrified line not receiving regular commuter traffic. (Source: Wiki)
